Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić will step into the shoes of coach Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk at the upcoming Play2Live Cryptomasters tournament taking place in Minsk, Belarus from February 24-25.

BIG underwent two changes earlier this month, as Kevin "⁠keev⁠" Bartholomäus was benched and Nikola "⁠LEGIJA⁠" Ninić stepped down to become the German organization's Head of CS, with Tizian "⁠tiziaN⁠" Feldbusch and Niels "⁠luckeRRR⁠" Jasiek replacing the two players.

As the German squad are heading into the $100,000 tournament Play2Live Cryptomasters, set to start tomorrow, Alexander "⁠kakafu⁠" Szymanczyk announced that the team will try LEGIJA as the team's coach in Minsk.

LEGIJA has previously coached Nihilum and Kinguin in 2015

Meanwhile, the former coach will take a step back to "support the team from home as an analyst" for the Belarus tournament, where BIG are set to face Valiance in the quarter-finals tomorrow.

LEGIJA has some coaching experience under his belt, having stood behind North American side Nihilum and later the Kinguin/G2 lineup in the latter half of 2015.

BIG's lineup for Play2Live Cryptomasters is thus the following:
